Eric Bering opened his House of Flowers in 1972 and has since become one of Scandinavia’s best-known florists. House of Flowers is now run by Eric’s successor, Bjarne, but the philosophy of the shop has remained the same. It continues to specialise in lavish, rococo-inspired bouquets that are so impressive that Bering has been the Danish Royal Court’s official purveyor of flowers for many years. Although you probably won’t be able to bring the gorgeous flowers home with you, make sure to stop by here anyway. Buy yourself a nice, small vase, soak up some inspiration or just admire the many pictures of the Royal family that are hanging on the walls. It’s just down the street from Hotel Skt. Petri!
