BIKING FOR CHILDREN WITH UNICEF
SKT. PETRI and UNICEF are biking for children all summer
Together with UNICEF, SKT. PETRI is ‘Biking for Children’ all summer. Each time a guest takes a bike from SKT. PETRI out for a spin, it offers more than just a trip around Copenhagen. For every ride SKT. PETRI donates 20 DKK to UNICEF’s work for children’s education. For 20 DKK you can provide a child with four notebooks, two chalkboards, two cases of chalk as well as 16 pencils. In countries such as Ghana, Burkina Faso and India UNICEF also hand out bikes to children living in remote areas. This reduces travel time and leaves more time for chores and homework.
We’ve teamed up with the Danish influencer Emily Salomon (@emilysalomon) and Head of Business Development at UNICEF, Hanna Line Jakobsen, to spread the word about our collaboration with UNICEF ‘Biking for Children’ and also share some of their favourite hotspots for bike trips around Copenhagen.
